Torrey Pines Stadium Rules
Please keep in mind that Torrey Pines High has been extremely generous in letting TPPW use the school field for home games. Their only requirement is that we limit the number of people on their field (which includes the track) to only those coaches, players and assistants on the team's official roster. This is actually a national Pop Warner regulation enforced at almost every field you attend.
Therefore, no one is allowed on the field before, during, and after a game unless they are on the playing team's roster. Everyone else must remain in the stands.
These rules apply to both teams and spectators:
1) You must have a badge to enter the track/field area. This includes doing chains. No one is allowed on the field or track before, during, and after a game unless they are on the playing team's roster. Everyone else must remain in the stands.
2) No food is allowed on the field. Especially chewing gum or any other sticky candy or food. Teams will need to enter the stands for half time snacks and post game snacks. No glass bottles or containers. The only beverage allowed on the track and field is Water; No Gatorade, Vitamin Water, Juice Boxes, Coffee, Chocolate Milk, Orange Juice, Milk etc. are allowed.
3) Absolutely no sunflower seeds allowed on the field or in the stands.
4) The TPHS Campus is closed. Please supervise children who are not playing or cheering including keeping all children off of the embankments and off of the running track.
5) Please park in the large student parking lot or in the front lot. The TPHS JV and Varsity coaches are working on Saturdays watching tapes and they do not appreciate getting blocked in.
6) Please do not leave any trash in the stadium. Please carry out everything you carry in.
7) No pets, bikes, skateboards, blades or skates. No cigarettes or cigars.
8) Please have your end of Game team meetings off the field in the stands or the patch area so the next team playing can prepare and get situated for their game.
